Remote Jobs and Economic Development Program

The RJED program seeks to fund 3,000 new jobs over three years to support job seekers currently participating in or are eligible for Remote Employment Services (RES), the New Jobs Program Trial (NJPT), or the CDP Trialling Pathways to Remote Employment (CDP Trials) to move into employment.

Youth Empowerment Program

The Youth Empowerment Program will provide funding of $28.377 million to organisations for programs for youth aged 10 to 17 who are engaged in, or at-risk of becoming engaged in, criminal and/or anti-social behaviour. It is expected that activities will be aimed at the participation of young people at-risk aged between 10 to17 to reduce the incidence of low-level engagement in criminal activity and decrease recidivism rates.

Great Barrier Reef Citizen Science

The Great Barrier Reef Citizen Science Program aims to tap into local knowledge and target the collection of data and metrics to enhance the understanding of ecological health and resilience indicators of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area.

This will help deliver on the goals and strategic actions of the Reef 2050 Plan.

Successful projects from the program will support citizen scientists to generate meaningful data.
